Chase Wouters scored the game-winning goal with seven seconds remaining in overtime.
Wouters also assisted on third-period goal by Mark Rubinchik.
Josh Tarzwell scored a first period goal for the Hurricanes.
Ryan Kubic made 36 saves in the Saskatoon net.
The Blades are now 6-7-1 on the season. They’re in action against the Tigers in Medicine Hat on Friday.
