A construction site near College Drive and Preston Avenue North evacuated Wednesday afternoon when crews hit a natural gas line.
Saskatoon Fire Department was called to 1850 College Drive around 2:30 p.m. and told a post hole auger hit the line.
Firefighters set up a perimeter and checked for any ignition sources in the area.
SaskEnergy found the leak and closed it.
Repair work was underway into Wednesday evening.
No one was injured.
