A special weather statement warns of snow and strong northerly winds expected for areas around Kindersley, Rosetown, Biggar, Macklin and Wilkie.
A cold front is forecast to move through Alberta bringing a significant drop in temperatures and snow.
In western Saskatchewan along the Alberta border, rain will change to snow Monday morning as strong to severe northerly winds develop. The highest snow accumulations are expected along the Cypress Hills.
