The world is still absorbing the news that Playboy founder Hugh M. Hefner died Wednesday night at the age of 91.
Former playmate Shannon Tweed, who spent part of her childhood in Saskatoon, posted two photos to Instagram Wednesday in memory of Hefner.
The photo shows a youthful Hefner with Tweed and her husband Gene Simmons. The accompanying caption says the couple will miss him dearly.
Tweed wrote Hefner and her husband had mutual interests.
“My husband and Hef often talked about the many things they had in common aside from me. Movies, comics, politics, philosophies and love.”
Simmons tweeted out the same picture writing, “We love you.”
Tweed and Simmons first met at the Playboy mansion. Tweed was Miss November back in 1981 and playmate of the year in 1982.
