Two men are dead after a head-on crash near Prince Albert Sunday night.
Prince Albert RCMP said officers were sent just after 8 p.m. to a crash on Highway 2, around five and a half kilometres south of the city.
RCMP said a southbound pick-up truck, driven by a 30-year-old man from Little Red River First Nation, crossed over into the northbound lane.
The truck crashed with an oncoming SUV driven by a 66-year-old man from Christopher Lake.
Members of the public who arrived at the scene pulled the 30-year -old driver, the only person in the truck, out before the vehicle started on fire.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 62-year-old woman, who was the passenger in the SUV, was taken to hospital with multiple injuries.
RCMP are not releasing the names of the people involved in the crash.
Traffic was reduced in the area for a period of time and was re-opened later that night.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
