A collision between a vehicle and pedestrian Friday night sent a 23-year-old man to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police were called to Clarence Avenue and 8th Street around 8:40 p.m.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance and Clarence was shut down between 8th and 9th Street while officers conducted their investigation and collected evidence.
According to a media release, the road was re-opened to traffic around 2 a.m. Saturday.
No word on whether any charges will be laid in connection.
