Saskatoon police are investigating after a gunshot rang out early Thursday morning in a residential neighbourhood.
A release Thursday afternoon said police received reports of a gunshot on Avenue F South between 17th and 18th Streets around 2:30 a.m.
The shot had gone through an apartment window, but no injuries were reported.
Police were told the suspects had fled in a vehicle, which was found abandoned nearby on 16th Street near Avenue H. Officers determined the vehicle had been stolen from Prince Albert.
A can of bear spray was found inside the car.
Officers attempted to use a police dog to track the suspects, which didn’t work.
The guns and gangs unit is continuing to investigate.
