A man will be in a Saskatoon courtroom Monday following a tense situation with police over the weekend.
Just before midnight on Sunday, police were called to the 600 block of Idylwyld Drive north for a male who had barricaded himself in his suite after pointing a firearm at a security guard.
The armoured rescue vehicle was brought in to assist.
Police said the suspect ended up walking out of the suite on his own shortly after the armoured vehicle arrived and was arrested.
Officers located a canister of bear mace and a pellet handgun inside the suite.
