The Saskatoon Fire Department says a series of early morning blazes were deliberately set.
Crews were called out to 13 Maxwell Crescent around 4:35 a.m.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames pouring out of a two-car garage.
The fire was brought under control within 18 minutes, according to a fire department news release.
The blaze also involved a fence and a shed at 15 Maxwell Crescent.
Crews also found a small fire smoldering behind another garage at 21 Maxwell Crescent.
An investigator later determined that the fires were started on purpose.
Total damage was estimated at $59,000.
