A Taste of Saskatchewan is getting underway in Saskatoon.
The 2017 edition of the annual summer event starts at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kiwanis Memorial Park.
The festival showcases food from 30 Saskatchewan restaurants, alongside free performances by over 50 Saskatchewan bands.
“Each restaurant is limited to serving three items, and we make sure that there’s no duplication in any of the menu items,” explained festival manager Scott Ford.
Ford said this year sees 25 restaurants returning to the festival, with five new additions.
A Taste of Saskatchewan runs until Sunday.
A full menu and performance schedule can be found on the event website.
