More adult players are now investing in the protective equipment.
Now that kids are out of school for the summer Saskatoon opened it’s youth centres for the season on Monday.
The programs, that include sports, arts, and a place to hang out, are open to people ages 12 to 16.
From Monday to Thursday most locations are open 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
A release from the city lists the locations as:
Youth Centres
Arts Only Youth Centres
Sports Only Youth Centre
Lacrosse, basketball, badminton and floor hockey is available.
