More adult players are now investing in the protective equipment.
A Lakeview area home has extensive damage after an SUV, driven by a 14-year-old boy, slammed into the front of it Friday night.
The brickwork near a street-facing basement window appears to have been pulled from the wall with plywood now covering the area that’s normal the front door.
According to police, the 14-year-old was driving east down the 100 block of Costigan Road around 7:45 p.m. when he seems to have deliberately crashed into the house.
The only person inside the house was in a kitchen at the back and escaped injury. The teen didn’t suffer any injuries either.
Police say the investigation is still underway, but no charges will be laid at this time.
