A woman has died after being hit by an SUV near Vanscoy.
RCMP responded to the crash on Highway 7 around 1:10 a.m. Saturday.
The woman, who was walking in the area, died from her injuries at the scene.
Traffic was re-routed for a period of time while a collision analyst worked in the area.
The highway has since reopened and RCMP are investigating.
