Saskatoon police say two women committed an armed robbery at a gas station in the city’s southwest.
Officers were called to the Shell station on the 2500 block of Dawes Avenue after an employee called saying their workplace had been robbed.
Two women reportedly came into the store around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, one armed with a handgun and the other with bear mace.
Police said the pair stole cigarettes and cash before taking off on foot.
Police dogs were unable to track the suspects.
Both women are described as Indigenous in appearance.
The woman with the handgun was reportedly carrying a brown bag, wearing black Adidas shoes and had a black bandana covering her face.
The woman with the bear mace was reportedly wearing a grey jacket with the hood up, blue jeans, brown shoes and a hat with a red brim.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
