A moose was on the loose in the Queen City Wednesday morning — and it might have been looking for its morning coffee and Timbits.
The moose was spotted by Tyler Pyle in Regina’s Harbour Landing area.
He said the animal was near a Tim Hortons just after 7 a.m.
One person also texted 980 CJME about the moose, saying they spotted it in the south end on Prospect Place and Habkirk Drive.
People in the area tell us the Moose has been tranquilized near Habkirk Drive, north of Gordon Road, and has been transported away.
Anytime wildlife wanders into the city it is important to keep your distance and let the authorities know. It is also important to be alert when driving due to the unpredictable nature of animals.
