A mannequin will be rescued from the Traffic Bridge Wednesday morning to test recovery tools and the steps of a rescue.
Graham Commuter Partners, the contractor in charge of building the new bridge, issued an announcement Tuesday saying an exercise will be run on the southeast side of the bridge starting at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The company hopes to learn from Wednesday’s test-run in case a rescue ever needs to be done on a similar jobsite.
The exercise was expected to last about an hour.
