Sask. RCMP suspect foul play in Pelican Narrows death

RCMP are investigating a death in Pelican Narrows.
 
Police were called to the small northern Saskatchewan community around 1 a.m. Tuesday, responding to a report that a man had been pronounced dead at the local health centre.
 
An autopsy is scheduled for later this week. In the meantime, RCMP stated in a media release that they are treating the man’s death as suspicious.
 
Police noted that people in Pelican Narrows could expect to see an increased RCMP presence throughout the day Tuesday as members of the major crime unit continue looking into the incident.
