A 43-year-old man from Kipling is dead following a crash 40 kilometres south of Whitewood.
RCMP attended the scene of the crash before 9 a.m. Friday morning on highway 9. The highway was closed in both directions.
RCMP said the man was in a north-bound pick-up truck that collided with a south-bound semi tractor-trailer unit.
The driver of the semi was transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
The highway is expected to re-open shortly.
