One man has been charged with break and enter after an incident in the Exhibition neighbourhood Friday night.
According to police, a man broke through the door of a house on the 400 block of Hilliard Street West at 8:50 p.m. while the people who live there were home.
The residents made it outside safely and waited for police to arrive.
Police confronted the man inside the home and arrested the 31-year-old.
In a media release, police said the accused is not known to the residents and appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance at the time.
