Saskatoon police have arrested the prime suspect in the city’s second murder case of the year.
Officers took 25-year-old Curtis Kevin Morin into custody Wednesday. He was one of three suspects apprehended after a police chase involving a shotgun and a stolen car earlier that day.
He’s wanted for second-degree murder in the stabbing death of 29-year-old Bailey Lonechild on Jan. 17.
Saskatoon police issued a Canada-wide warrant for Morin last week.
Officers reported previously the suspect has a “history of violent behaviour and gang involvement.”
