New traffic lights and slower speeds await drivers north of Regina.
New traffic lights have been installed at Armour Road and Highway 6.
The speed limit has also been reduced from 100 to 70 kilometres per hour.
A week-long “burn-in” period was scheduled but the Ministry of Highways decided to reduce the waiting period.
They said it was to help avoid driver confusion.
The lights became fully operational Thursday afternoon.
Traffic lights are expected to be in place at highway 6 and Industrial Drive sometime this summer.
