A woman in Moose Jaw was sent to hospital with some serious injuries after someone broke into her home early this morning.
According to a release from the Moose Jaw Police Service, a man broke into the woman’s home on the 0 block of Lillooet Street West around 1 a.m. and assaulted her with an unknown object after being confronted by the woman.
Police searched the area with the help of K9 police dogs but were not able to find the suspect who had fled the scene.
The woman was later released from hospital.
