A train carrying potash came off the rails early Friday morning near Craven.
Martin Cej with the Canadian Pacific Rail (CP) confirmed a freight train carrying potash derailed around 8:20 a.m. near the RM of Longlaketon, Sask.
According to CP’s initial assessment, 26 cars came off the track.
There were no injuries to the crew and there are no public safety concerns.
RCMP were on scene earlier today and they reported the train wasn’t blocking any public roadways.
RCMP are no longer on scene and CP is currently investigating the derailment.
