A body discovered in a home near the Pasqua Hospital is now being treated as a homicide by Regina police.
The body of 31-year-old Ryan Sugar was found at 1555 McTavish St. on Oct. 11, 2016. A fire took place in the home in the early morning of Oct. 5.
The Coroner and Major Crime investigators investigated to determine Sugar’s identity, as well as the circumstances of his death.
It’s now being treated as a homicide.
Regina police said Major Crime investigators have made “significant progress” in the investigation, but did not release further details.
