A drowning is being investigated in west-central Saskatchewan.
It happened Monday afternoon near the community of Macklin, by the Alberta border, west of Unity.
RCMP said they received a complaint before locating the man.
The man tried to get away from officers by swimming across a slough, but didn’t make it.
Officers found him dead.
It’s not clear what the complaint was about.
The investigation has been turned over to Moose Jaw police.
