The Saskatoon Blades’ recent funk continued on Friday with a 4-2 loss in Moose Jaw.
That loss is the fourth in a row for Saskatoon, who have been outscored 13-6 over that span.
Luke Gingras and Mason McCarty scored for the Blades. Logan Flodell stopped 35 of 38 shots to earn the game’s third star in a losing effort.
Despite the loss, there was some good news for Saskatoon on Friday. Long-time Blade and overage forward Ryan Graham played his first game since a lower body injury at Ottawa Senators rookie camp. The over-age forward from Calgary has 111 points in 237 WHL games, all scored as a Blade.
Saskatoon tried to snap the losing skid on the road Saturday when they visit Prince Albert.
