Swift Current RCMP blocked off traffic on Sunday outside a home after a youth was accused of uttering threats.
RCMP were on scene for about an hour on Sunday evening after receiving a report of a youth who was threatening people in a home on the 300 block of Gladstone Street West.
Officers and the police dog unit entered the home and learned the suspect had already left. The suspect was found a short time later in the city and was taken into custody without incident.
The youth is being held to appear before youth court later Monday.
