A Regina man has been arrested and charged in connection with recent thefts at the University of Regina.
In recent months, police have received several reports of thefts, mainly electronics, from within buildings at the university.
Police executed a search warrant at a home on the 1300 block of Athol Street, between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue, Friday evening. Officers recovered a number of items along with keys for rooms at the university.
Joseph Robert Ronald Bonnefant, 30, of Regina was arrested without incident and is now facing 21 theft-related charges.
Bonnenfant made his first court appearance in Regina Friday.
