A 55-year-old man from Riceton was killed in a crash south of Lajord, Saskatchewan on Friday.
RCMP officers from the Milestone detachment were called to the scene of a crash between a semi and a truck on a grid road south of Lajord on Friday at 5 p.m.. STARS Air Ambulance and local fire and rescue crews also responded.
The 55-year-old man who was driving the truck died at the scene and the 30-year-old semi driver was taken to the hospital in Regina with undetermined injuries.
Police say the truck was heading south when it was hit by the semi travelling east. Police say alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor in this crash.
