A Saskatoon police investigation has resulted in four people being charged with drug and weapons related offences.
Police say they found fentanyl, cocaine and bear mace when they searched two houses Thursday — one on Avenue E south in the Riversdale neighbourhood, another on Herold road in the Lakewood neighbourhood.
44-year-old Darren Harper was among four people charged. Harper was identified as a leader of the Terror Squad gang in a 2013 parole decision.
Harper made his first court appearance this morning on drug and weapons charges. He will back in court for a bail hearing on Tuesday.
Two other men–aged 30 and 28–and a woman, 28, were charged with various counts of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime among and other offences.
A fifth person was arrested, but released without charges.
