A man from the Punnichy area is the subject of an arrest warrant in connection with a shooting in Regina over the weekend.
Adam Taniskishayinew, 24, who also goes by the name Adam Pratt, is charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm, and breach of probation.
Taniskishayinew is described as aboriginal, about 5’9″, weighing 160-170 pounds, slim build, with short black hair and brown eyes.
Taniskishayinew is accused of shooting a 25-year-old man at a home on Rootman Avenue in east Regina early Sunday morning. The victim was sent to hospital and has since been released.
Police are encouraging people to stay away from Taniskishayinew. He may be armed and is considered violent.
