The man tried to snatch the dog, but it bit him in the leg.
The woman and her dog were able to get away safely.
Sshe was treated by paramedics for minor injuires.
The suspect is described as a tall Indigenous male wearing a black bunnyhug, jeans, and had shorter hair.
