Charges are not being considered at this time after a pedestrian was hit and killed on Highway 8, north of the Cote First Nation.
At around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, a 44-year-old woman was hit by an SUV travelling north. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was not physically injured and remained at the crash site for police to arrive.
Kamsack RCMP, Fire and EMS were called and a police collision analyst investigated the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing.
The Cote First Nation is located around 90 kilometres northeast of Yorkton.
