On Thursday night there was another incident in Regina involving firearms, this time, a woman was shot.
According to police, they got a call around 10:20 p.m. and officers were dispatched to a home on the 1300 block of Athol Street, near 7th Avenue in the North Central area.
Police had been told a gun was fired, and a 48-year-old woman shot.
When officers arrived they found the woman and she was taken to hospital – her injuries were described as minor.
As of Friday morning, the investigation was ongoing and no charges had been laid.
