After an altercation in Meadow Lake, an off-duty RCMP officer has been arrested and charged with assault.
Constable Khen Wilkins was allegedly involved in an incident the night of Dec. 14, 2015 at a Meadow Lake residence.
RCMP were called because of noise complaints and subsequently learned Wilkins had been involved in an altercation before they arrived.
Wilkins was arrested and charged yesterday, Aug. 9 after a Code of Conduct investigation by the RCMP.
Though he was charged, Wilkins is now on regular duty at the M.L. detachment.
His will appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on Sept. 26.
