An animal rescue in the Battleford and Maidstone area is asking for help as it tries to help animals affected by the Husky pipeline oil leak on July 21.
In a facebook post made late Saturday Lend a Paw Animal Rescue is asking for supplies like old sheets, disposable gloves, and Q-tips.
Dozens of people from all over the province started commenting immediately hoping to help.
The post has been shared nearly 1000 times.
In a statement Sunday the rescue said “we will know more later as far as what to expect but will not be on FB (sic) much of the day.” It read.
It went on to say “We have the people here from Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation and more arriving today. We will let you know how to help with updates along the way. Thank you everyone for your support.”
