Five thousand pigs were killed when a fire destroyed a pair of hog barns outside Leroy Saskatchewan.
Humboldt RCMP say they got the call along with firefighters from Leroy, Englefield and Humboldt around 4 p.m. on Saturday. The two barns were engulfed in flames when emergency crews arrived.
The cause has not been determined at this point, but RCMP say the fire is not considered suspicious.
