Murray Wood: The public has a right to know details when someone is killed by police
Imagine living in a country where police shoot and kill someone, then don't tell the public who it was. Well, that's wha...
An early morning crash on Saturday has left a 19-year-old man dead.
According to police, the man was driving west on Diefenbaker Drive, near Pasqua Street, in the north end of Regina. It was before 1 a.m. that the vehicle didn’t manage to negotiate a curve while heading west, then crashed into a cement sound barrier wall that stands several yards from the road.
The 19-year-old man was the only person in the vehicle and he died on scene.
The crash was soon cleaned up and traffic began to flow again.
The Regina Police Service along with the Office of the Coroner are investigating, to figure out what caused the crash.
