Funnel clouds were spotted in the southeast part of Saskatchewan near Redvers Friday morning around 11 a.m. according to Environment Canada.
The atmosphere is still right for the development of funnel clouds Friday afternoon around Yorkton, Moosomin and Carlyle. That brings the potential for weak land spout tornadoes, although the weather agency said that’s not likely.
However, Environment Canada said that system should be tapering off Friday night and moving into Manitoba.
If you see a funnel cloud, make sure you’re safe and report it to Environment Canada.
