Regina police continue to investigate a threat made to a Regina school Wednesday morning.
The police service says a bomb threat was received by Jack MacKenzie Elementary School shortly before 10 a.m. The school and the adjoining St. Gabriel School were put under secure-the-building mode as a precaution.
Officers searched the building, but nothing suspicious was found. Secure-the-building mode was lifted by 11 a.m.
Police say they will continue to investigate the threat and if there is enough evidence, criminal charges may be laid against whoever is responsible.
