A red car almost hit a small child crossing the street on Friday night, and police are looking for the culprit.
According to Regina police, around 7:20 on Friday evening a 48-year-old woman and a 4-year-old girl were crossing 8th Avenue at Athol Street at a marked crosswalk to get to the park. As they were crossing, a red car sped past them westbound, grazing the little girl – she had some minor injuries.
Police said the red vehicle stopped briefly and then took off.
