The prime minister is in Saskatchewan Tuesday and Wednesday.
Justin Trudeau arrives in Fort Qu’Appelle late Tuesday afternoon.
He will first learn more about the work of Qu’Appelle Haven, a 24-hour safe shelter for abused women and children.
From there, Trudeau will meet with the tribal council’s 11 chiefs and council at the Treaty 4 Governance Centre.
It is expected the prime minister will be make an announcement in that building’s tipi room Tuesday evening.
Trudeau will meet with Premier Brad Wall in Saskatoon Wednesday.
