Silverspring school will still be used as a polling station on Monday and classes will run as scheduled after a car crashed into the side of the building Sunday morning.
Saskatoon Police arrived at the school just before 3 a.m. to find a vehicle had flipped onto its roof after hitting the building. A set of doors and a classroom on the south end of the school were badly damaged.
The 25-year-old driver had to be extricated from the car and he was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash and continue to investigate.
