Regina police have charged a second person in connection to the murder of a 56-year-old man.
On Tuesday morning, police were called to the 1000 block of Princess Street where officers found a man who had been injured. Andre Aubertin was taken to hospital was he was pronounced dead.
On Wednesday, a near nine-hour standoff took place less than a block away. Police eventually took a 26-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man into custody.
Police now say the man, 33-year-old Michael Elwin Goodpipe, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death.
Regina police have also charged 27-year-old Jerid Cole Azure with second-degree murder in the case.
