On Thursday 24-year-old Jesse David Taylor from Moose Jaw pleaded guilty to impaired driving in crash that killed three of his friends.
The horrific roll-over outside Moose Jaw in 2013 left three young men – all young fathers, dead – another critically injured, and their friend charged with impaired driving causing death.
Police say Taylor had a blood alcohol content over .08 when the five friends were driving on Highway 2 south of Moose Jaw September 15, 2013.
He lost control and the truck rolled several times killing Josh Patterson, Jason Friesen, and Justin Kowalski while a fourth person was left in serious condition.
With the guilty plea, the Crown and defence have jointly asked for a four year prison sentence, followed by a five year driving ban.
