The execution of a high-risk search warrant in Regina’s Uplands neighbourhood has resulted in two men facing charges.
Regina police said a stole snowblower and a machete were found during the search of a home in the 900 block of Broad Street North. Police are determining if other items were stolen as well.
On Wednesday at approximately 4:25 p.m., Regina’s SWAT team along with Crisis Negotiator teams were called to help with the execution of the high-risk search warrant. The search was carried out without incident.
Jason John Wayne Legare, 36, and Shean Stewart, 38, are charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000. Stewart is also facing two charges of breach of undertaking.
Both suspects made their first court appearance on Thursday afternoon.
