Saskatoon police are asking for information on stabbing that left a man in hospital.
Officers were called out to a home on the 900 block of Weldon Avenue around 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday. They found a 28-year-old man who told them he’d been stabbed when he opened his back door after hearing someone outside.
The man was taken to hospital where he is believed to be in stable condition.
As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, police reported they had yet to identify a suspect.

A previously posted version of this story indicated the stabbing happened at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday. Police have since issued an update indicating the stabbing occurred at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 15.
