Records kept falling throughout the weekend as Regina saw temperatures in the double digits.
The Queen City’s record-breaking weather began on Thursday. The city saw 14 C, beating the 1934 record of 13.3 C. Friday’s 14.8 C beat the 1934 record of 13.3 C. Saturday saw 13.4 C, beating 11.3 C set in 1992. Finally, Sunday’s high of 12.9 C beat the record of 12.2 C set in 1910.
Regina wasn’t the only place in the province with record-setting weather Sunday. Broadview set a record with 12.9 C, beating the old record of 9.8 C in 2012. La Ronge saw 12.2 C beating the 1995 record of 12 C. Watrous saw a high of 10.3 C, beating the record of 9.6 C from 2012. Wynyard also managed to set a record with 8.8 C, just beating the 2012 record of 8.6 C.
