The City of Regina is on another search after chief financial officer Ed Archer resigned.
On Wednesday, the city confirmed the CFO was leaving to take a position with the City of Greater Sudbury.
Archer has served as CFO for two years and served as the interim city manager from October 2015 to this month when Chris Holden officially took over the position.
“I am pleased to have had the opportunity and privilege to work with Ed during this transitional phase and am confident that he will continue to be successful in his new role,” Holden said in a new release.
Archer’s last day will be May 13. The city says it will begin a search for his replacement soon.
