A crash between two semis Monday left one man dead, and shut down a portion of the Yellowhead highway east of Saskatoon.
Saskatoon RCMP were called to the scene near Plunkett just before 2 p.m. The collision had left both the east and west bound lanes blocked.
As of 8 p.m., highway 16 remained closed between the junctions of highways 2 and 20.
Police have yet to release the identity of the deceased, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation. However, icy road conditions were reported in the area at the time of the crash.
